Heart of Steel and Demons: Cyber-Zombie Mecha from the Start

A century after the spiritual qi revival, Blue Star is no longer the world people remember.

Mountains, rivers, and seas have become the territory of demonic beasts. Their roars echo across the wilderness day and night, and their claws can easily tear through alloy. Humanity has retreated to floating cities and underground fortresses, relying on mecha technology to build its final line of defense. Firearms and energy shields have become its only means of survival. But no one expected something even more terrifying to emerge from deep underground: ancient zombies. They fear neither guns nor cannons and feed on raw flesh. Wherever they pass, whether demonic beasts or humans, only bones remain. They have become the death knell of both races.

Just as the world teetered on the brink of collapse, "Beast Shifters" appeared. They are outliers among humanity, able to break through genetic barriers and perfectly fuse the savage power of demonic beasts with the precision technology of mechas. Some combine with thunder leopard genes, covering their mechas in lightning scales and moving faster than sound. Others graft on the bloodline of the giant whale, allowing their heavy mechas to switch freely between the deep sea and the skies. Most importantly, they have held on to their human reason and have not become uncontrollable monsters.

Today, every Beast Shifter is a mobile strategic weapon.
