Heroes of Might and Magic I: I Only Love Mechanical Constructs

After playing Heroes of Might and Magic all day without sleeping, I finally had a guaranteed win, only to get my head chopped off.

In a fit of anger, I decided to relax with a VR shooter instead. The moment I logged in, some psycho killed me with a knife six times in a row. The last time, he stabbed me right in the waist.

When I respawned, I was completely stunned. Where was I? Why was everything so chaotic?

Lightning flashed all around as all kinds of monsters and demons slaughtered one another.

In the distance, enormous creatures roared as they charged at each other.

Why did these creatures look so familiar? Was this...? No!

Wasn't I playing a shooter with a VR headset?

Why did this place look so much like Heroes of Might and Magic?
