Siheyuan: Returned from Abroad, the Whole Nation Wants Me in the Government

An academician in military engineering is born into the fiery years, becoming Yan Jiecheng in Siheyuan.

With his excellent grades, he goes to the Soviet Union to study, delving deeply into heavy industry, rockets, missiles, and other fields!

After returning with his studies complete, he discovers that his girlfriend, Zhao Mengqing, is the daughter of General Zhao, a founding general.

At a family banquet at General Zhao's home, an important leader happens to pay a visit.

Leader: What? You're the author of the detailed explanation of rocket-launch principles and the prerequisites for industrial technology?

Yan Jiecheng scratches his head in embarrassment. I just scribbled that down in my sophomore year...

The leader claps and laughs. Excellent! But the Bear launched a rocket two years ago. When will we be able to do that? What a pity!

Yan Jiecheng: Actually, Leader, my main area of research is rocket and aerospace engineering...

The leader is stunned. You, you, you! How do you know how to do everything? Come to think of it, nuclear weapons are another area where we're weak...

Yan Jiecheng timidly raises his hand. Leader, I've done a little research on nuclear bombs too!

The leader is speechless!!

Armed with the leader's letter of recommendation, Yan Jiecheng joins the Science and Technology Commission. Starting with the foundations of heavy industry, he becomes an unparalleled pillar of the nation!
