Chronicles of the Hidden Eternal Night: A Tribute to Genshin Impact, the Red Dragon and the Sakura Fox

The White-Haired Dragon General of the Grand Narukami Shrine is set in Genshin Impact's Inazuma. It tells the story of Chiyu Xius, an ancient Pyro dragon who becomes a great general under the Raiden Shogun, and his conflicted journey of protection under the Sakoku Decree.

A fierce dragon tempered by countless battles willingly lies low beneath the shrine's eaves, where cherry blossoms sway. By day, he silently repairs the stone steps, clears away blightmoss, and clumsily accepts sakura mochi from the shrine maidens. By night, his claws tear monsters apart and his dragonflame burns away the Abyss's lingering corruption. When the cruel Vision Hunt Decree tears Inazuma apart, and a Blonde Traveler from a foreign land cuts through the thunderstorm, the beast tamed by order begins to stare into the cracks in "eternity." The hollow bodies left behind after their Visions are taken pierce like thorns the beliefs he once held dear.

Yae Miko's sly smile is a chain binding him, and also the only light in the dark. Her fingertips brush over his old, battle-scarred scales, seeing through his icy dragon eyes to his longing for peace. From mountains of corpses to admiring falling cherry blossoms together beneath the veranda, from the fires of war in Liyue to Inazuma's thunderstorms, this struggle between tamer and tamed will ultimately ask whether the sharpest blade can cleave open a land where time stands still.
