Siheyuan: I Got Stronger by Taking Advice, and the Yard's Troublemakers Are Losing It

Transmigrating to a Beijing courtyard in 1952, Lin Fan finds himself facing a full-courtyard meeting from the start!

Yi Zhonghai uses moral blackmail: "Lin Fan, you're the family of a martyr. You should know what's expected of you and give your house to the Jia family!"

Surrounded by the courtyard's bullies, Lin Fan awakens the Advice-Following System!

Ding! Recommendation: follow Yi Zhonghai's advice, but propose a deeper form of mutual aid!

So Lin Fan makes his decision on the spot: "First Master is right. We should help each other. I'll move into your home. You have a high salary and a big house, so from now on, I'll be your father. I'll eat your food and drink your drink, and you'll support me in my old age!"

Yi Zhonghai is stunned. "I only wanted you to give up your house. I never meant to take a father home and support him!"

Jia Zhangshi goes crazy. "Why does Lin Fan get to eat braised pork at Yi's house while I have to gnaw on steamed buns?"

From then on, everything takes a sharp turn. Yi Zhonghai advises Lin Fan to sweep the workshop floor and build character? Lin Fan follows his advice! He turns around and passes the exam to become a Level 8 engineer, shocking the entire factory and leaving Yi Zhonghai's face swollen from the slap! Qin Huairu wants to mooch meat off him? Lin Fan follows her advice! He hands her the leftover dishwater instead. "This is the most nutritious stuff. Take it and build up your strength!"

The courtyard bullies break down in tears. "Please, stop following advice! If you keep this up, we'll all end up without heirs!"
