This book takes the perspective and inner struggle of an ordinary person "K" living in the near future as the main line, and connects the panorama from individual confusion to social malaise to the crisis of civilization. Through K's "awakening" journey, it provides an in-depth analysis of how human beings, shrouded in dataism, algorithmic hegemony and technological theology, repeat the self-destructive logic countless times in history. The book combines the essence of Eastern and Western philosophy. It uses the changing thinking of the I Ching as the skeleton, the "Tao" of the Tao Te Ching as the ultimate destination, uses Plato's "cave" metaphor to describe the situation of modern people, and uses Nietzsche's "hammer" to smash all false idols. Finally, in Heidegger's "living toward death" and the Eastern "return to nature", it explores the possible way to redeem individual souls and continue human civilization.
