Siheyuan: A Master Craftsman, Famous in the Capital from the Start

Senior engineer Yan Jiecheng woke up to find himself a down-on-his-luck college entrance exam failure in Third Master’s family, living in a Beijing courtyard in 1962.

From the start, he’s about to be squeezed dry by his stingy father and looked down on by everyone in the courtyard. Luckily, his God-Tier Craftsman System activates!

God-tier cooking: one plate of “Water-Boiled Cabbage” leaves Silly Zhu speechless! God-tier metalworking: he easily solves a problem that even eighth-grade worker Yi Zhonghai couldn’t handle!

With knowledge and skills far ahead of his time, Yan Jiecheng rises from temporary worker to the top.

He turns his stingy father, Yan Bugui, into his “chief venture capitalist,” and uses schemes so far beyond the others’ level that all the courtyard’s schemers come up empty-handed.

While the residents are still tearing the place apart over a few cents, Yan Jiecheng is already riding in a Volga, traveling with guards, and serving as a master craftsman the nation depends on. Everyone else can only look up to him!
