War of Resistance: I Put My Old Cannons Up for Recycling

In 1937, after the rout at the Battle of Shanghai, Jiang Chen was entrusted with a desperate mission. Leading a battered remnant force into the mountains of the Gui Clique's territory, he was to build a base and preserve a spark of resistance for the war against Japan.

The higher-ups: Here's a patch of land. If you need men or guns, figure it out yourself. Staying alive is victory.

The Gui Clique: Here's a valley. Sink or swim, just don't cause us trouble.

Years later, as the Battle of Changsha turned desperate, the Ninth War Zone appealed to the entire nation for help. Xue Yue: "My troops have suffered massive casualties. We urgently need reinforcements!"

Bai Chongxi: "With elite troops to back us up, what have we to fear from the Japanese?"

At the critical moment, a mysterious force descended from the heavens.

The "Longxiang" assault battalion, clad in powered exoskeletons, descended like gods of war, while the "Xuanwu" armored formation, made up of heavy tanks, crushed everything in its path. Jiang Chen: "Pangu Base reporting in. We don't have many troops, just one combined-arms division. Awaiting your orders, sir!"
