Infinite Worlds: The Pain-Free Patient Takes on Everyone

Humanity faces a chance to evolve: survive by entering the jaws of death.

Only those who fight bravely in the apocalypse are worthy of entering the Hall of Valor and becoming divine warriors revered by all.

Not everyone starts from the same place.

The privileged enjoy special treatment, while those at the bottom struggle desperately.

But the gods are fair. The chance at evolution they bestow is equal for all.

Yet the gods are not loved by everyone. They, too, have favored children.

Lu Zhiyi was diagnosed with congenital insensitivity to pain as a child. He feels no pain.

Protected by his family, he is curious about the world and has little sense of fear.

When the apocalypse arrives, the family that doted on him abandons him in a basement with no way out.

At last free of the basement, Lu Zhiyi remains fearless even after learning the truth about the apocalypse, filled with a desire to explore this new world.

Is he one of the gods' favorites?

The world keeps rewinding, and the apocalypse repeatedly tests who is strong enough to enter the Hall of Valor.

Lu Zhiyi does not yearn for the gods' promises. He wants only true freedom.

For that, he fears nothing, not even killing a god.
