Videos Connect Past and Present: Five Thousand Years of Vicissitudes

Chinese civilization has endured five thousand years of trials and change.

From ancient times through the dynasties of feudal rule, and on to today’s prosperous modern era.

What a wonderful opportunity it would be if the rulers and people of every dynasty could witness the changes throughout history and see how wealthy and powerful the nation is today.

Li Bin unexpectedly obtains a “video-sharing” System.

The videos he watches are broadcast simultaneously to every era in history.

The first video, “A Poem of a Hundred Battles,” explores Chinese history and recounts how long each dynasty lasted, leaving the ancients devastated.

Qin Shi Huang, Ying Zheng, exclaims, “What? The Great Qin only lasted fifteen years, and it fell three years after my death?”

Scholars cry out in shock, “What? Qin Shi Huang, that tyrant, was actually an emperor for the ages?”

“Emperor Wu of Han was an emperor for the ages too? Do our descendants even know what we meant when we gave him the posthumous title ‘Wu’?”

Later videos show modern technology.

The ancients are all dumbfounded. Modern warfare has developed to this extent?

People don’t even have to fight anymore?

This novel and its characters are entirely fictional. Any resemblance to actual people or events is purely coincidental. Do not imitate.
