After Exceeding Hell's KPI, I Became Yama

As humanity loses its way amid the tide of technological progress and the "law of cause and effect" that sustains the universe nears collapse, one chosen mortal will begin in the underworld, restarting civilization's morality and faith and reshaping the cycle of heavenly law. This is not merely a story of personal growth, but a salvation that will determine the fate of all living beings.

The underworld's failure is an effect, not the cause. The real root of the crisis is humanity's collective moral decay and collapse of faith, which have drained the energy of the "law of cause and effect" that maintains the balance between yin and yang. The underworld's gods have not "disappeared"; with the power of faith exhausted, they have fallen into "slumber." This transforms the protagonist's mission from that of a "repairman" into a "civilization restarter."

The underworld is a vast ruin made of corrupted spirit-particle code, rusted chains of law, and polluted energy. The River of Forgetfulness is a blocked data stream, the Bridge of Helplessness is a broken iris-scanning security gate, and the Judge's Brush is a damaged interface that can read and write soul data.
