The Zerg Close In, and I Become a God with a Scrap Mech and a Girl

The insectoid horde tears through the starry sky and advances on humanity's doorstep, driving mankind to the brink of extinction.

At the awakening ceremony of the Federation Mecha University, theoretical prodigy Lin Ye becomes the laughingstock of the whole school: the machine he awakens is a decommissioned F-rank mecha, covered in rust and barely better than scrap metal.

Just as everyone mocks him as "a useless guy with a useless pile of scrap," the campus belle, Su Muqing, who awakened an S-rank Phoenix fighter, resolutely steps to his side.

"I want to team up with Lin Ye."

No one understands her choice, until the insectoid vanguard truly reaches them. Even the powerful S-rank mechas are routed by the insect tide.

In the depths of despair, Lin Ye activates the decommissioned mecha everyone had laughed at.

As the rusty button is pressed, a cold mechanical voice rings out in his mind:

Infinite Evolution System activated.

Mechanical Hive, initiate!

The wreckage transforms into a sea of drones, and technology capable of overturning the world lies hidden beneath the rust.

That "scrap heap" they mocked is humanity's only hope.
