Ranking Iconic Anime Deaths: Whitebeard at Marineford

A screen descends upon the myriad heavens, ranking the "Ten Most Heroic Final Moments"!

Kamina from Gurren Lagann blazes with passion!

Leading the charge out of the underground and shouting, "Who the hell do you think I am?" he combines with Simon in the "union of men" to create Gurren Lagann. Even after being pierced through the cockpit, he uses his final strength to shout, "Believe in yourself," as a billionfold drill pierces the enemy ship.

His fiery finale makes Garp exclaim, "Now that's a real man!"

Bon Clay of One Piece embodies the way of the okama!

At Impel Down, he disguises himself to lure the enemy and faces Magellan's deadly poison head-on to save Luffy. Even after his companions abandon him, he fights alone in a bloody battle, ultimately holding the Gate of Justice while tearfully bidding Luffy farewell over a Den Den Mushi.

"Parting needs no words" brings the myriad worlds to tears!

Next, Whitebeard shakes Marineford to its core!

The Tremor-Tremor Fruit splits the sky and shatters the sea. He withstands the three Admirals, forgives a traitor, and even with magma burning through his chest, roars, "The new era has no ship capable of carrying me!"
