Great Tang: Your Majesty, Stop Hitting Me! I Can't Take It Anymore!

When Cheng Zhao opened his eyes, he had gone straight back to the third year of the Zhenguan era in the Tang dynasty. More absurdly, he had become the youngest son of Cheng Yaojin, Duke of the State of Su! He had barely gotten used to his new identity as the Cheng family's third son when he happened to arrive just as Emperor Taizong of Tang, Li Shimin, was recruiting censors. Thus began a chaotic life in the Tang dynasty.

Years later, Emperor Taizong took the Crown Prince's hand and sighed earnestly. "That boy Cheng Zhao is the sharpest sword in all of Tang. Only a man of virtue can wield him. You're still young, so I'll leave him to assist you."

At that, the Crown Prince burst into tears on the spot and clung to a pillar in the hall. "I won't do it! I won't do it! Whoever wants to be emperor can have the job. I wouldn't dare take on this hot potato!"

Emperor Taizong was at his wits' end. In a fit of frustration, he almost slammed the table. "I want to trade places with you!"
