War of Resistance: The Northeast Will Never Fall

September 18, 1931: an eternal wound in the hearts of the Chinese people.

Because of orders not to resist, hundreds of thousands of the country's finest Northeastern Army troops let over a million square kilometers of rich land fall into enemy hands. Thirty million compatriots became subjects of a conquered nation, suffering under the Japanese invaders.

After occupying the Northeast, the Japanese invaders plundered its resources and grew much stronger.

A few years later, they launched a full-scale invasion. The most dangerous and brutal period in the history of the country and its people began.

To defeat the Japanese invaders, the whole nation paid a price of thirty-five million dead and wounded.

What if the Northeastern Army had resisted fiercely from the start? What if the Japanese invaders had been left battered and bloody right from the beginning?

Would all of this still have happened?

Wang Jun, a military history buff, transmigrates to another timeline and joins the Northeastern Army. He marries the fourth daughter of the Zhang family and becomes their son-in-law. After Marshal Zhang is assassinated, he becomes the deputy commander of the Northeast and takes control of Jilin Province.

When the Japanese invade, he leads the Northeastern Army in a bloody fight against them, crushing their plot to occupy the Northeast.

Then he replaces the Young Marshal Zhang, takes command of the Northeastern Army, unites the various warlords, counterattacks the Japanese mainland, and wipes out the Japanese invaders for good!
