In Shishi No. 1 Middle School, Chen Minmin is recognized as the "hardware store prince". As the president of the student union, he has excellent grades, handsome appearance, and seems to be perfect. Only he knows that the shrewd calculation and cost sensitivity engraved in his bones stem from his childhood when he had to go home after school to count screws and nuts. Zhuang Die, on the other hand, is recognized by the whole school as the "ugly duckling of the recycling bin." She always wears old clothes that have been washed white, with her head lowered and thick bangs blocking her sight. No one knew that her eyes that were mistaken for "ugly" could actually accurately distinguish the color of each metal and the recycling price of each type of waste paper; no one knew that hidden in her tattered schoolbag was a design diagram for the transformation of waste circuit boards that was enough to apply for a patent. This seemingly impossible encounter began when Chen Minmin discovered that Zhuang Die was repairing an antique brooch using rare metal wire that was out of stock in his shop. "Banpin, did you steal the inspiration from my scrap pile?" This novel and its characters are purely fictitious. Any similarity is purely coincidental and should not be imitated.
