Siheyuan: Starting as a Well-Connected Nobody, I Join the Ministry

When Lin Wenhui woke up, he had somehow gone from the 21st century to the world of Love in the Courtyard in the 1960s, reborn as a medical school graduate.

College graduates were a big deal in those days.

Within hours of arriving, he had to choose a job assigned by the school: become a doctor with a bright future, or go to the steel mill as a factory doctor whose prospects were obvious from the start.

Without a second thought, Lin Wenhui chose the steel mill.

What else could he do? Sending someone who only knew the theory, but had no practical skills, to work as a doctor at Peking Union Medical College Hospital would be like sending him there to kill people!

Just after he made his choice, a sudden "Ding!" rang in his mind, awakening the strongest Connections System in the Myriad Heavens.

Lin Wenhui nearly choked to death. "System, couldn't you have shown up sooner?"

"Wah! Give me back my job with a bright future!"
