The Number One Qin

At the end of the Warring States period, the Six States were weak, while mighty Qin stood unrivaled. To save itself, the weakest state, Han, devised a shocking plot: the "Exhaust Qin Plan," codenamed "Hot and Sour Soup." Under the pretext of building canals, it sent the top hydraulic engineer Zheng Guo into Qin, intending in truth to drain the Qin treasury and delay its conquest of the Six States.

Li Si, Qin's Minister of Justice, had already grown wary of the scheme. He secretly activated Zhao Changsheng, the ace spy "Roujiamo," who had been embedded in Han for many years, and launched the counteroperation "Plan 007" to uncover the true purpose of "Hot and Sour Soup."

This is a silent war fought both in the halls of power and in the hidden alleys of the common folk. As Zhao Changsheng draws closer to the truth, his inner struggle grows more intense: on one side is the survival of his homeland, Han; on the other is his loyalty to the King of Qin. In the end, when the truth behind the "Exhaust Qin Plan" is laid before the young King of Qin, Ying Zheng, a decision that no one could have expected draws everyone's fate into an even greater tide of history.
