Siheyuan: A Veteran of the War of Resistance Who Puts Moral Blackmail in Its Place

Lin Wei, a battle hero who survived a hail of bullets, returns to the courtyard house he has been away from for so long, weighed down by injuries and carrying the ashes and compensation money of every brother in his platoon.

He had hoped to live quietly and give the dead peace, but he soon discovers that this compound, which claims to be a place of "love and warmth," is rotten to the core.

The hypocritical First Master, Yi Zhonghai; the fame-hungry Second Master, Liu Haizhong; the scheming Third Master, Yan Bugui...

Then there's the sanctimonious Qin Huairu, the little brat Banggeng, and the wicked old hag Jia Zhangshi. Every last one of them is a piece of work!

When Banggeng reaches for the compensation money earned with his comrades' lives, the dormant killing intent within Lin Wei finally erupts!

"He's just a child?"

"When I was killing enemies on the battlefield, your kid was still playing in the mud!"

Moral blackmail? I'll show you what iron-blooded military spirit means!

Forming cliques? I'll show you what battlefield discipline looks like!

He activates the Iron-Blooded Merits System. Punishing scoundrels earns him merits, which he can exchange for anything!

If this compound has no rules left, then I, Lin Wei, will set things straight!

My rules are the rules!
