Journey to the West: My Darkened Tang Monk Stomps Mount Ling

A screen descends across the myriad worlds, ranking the top ten tragic heroes from the start, with Great Sage Equal to Heaven Sun Wukong among them!

The video reveals that becoming a Buddha was, in fact, a soul-prison devised by the Buddhist sect to erase the Great Sage's will. His body and spirit were destroyed, leaving only a spark of life to fall to Flower-Fruit Mountain.

The myriad worlds erupt in uproar! Tang San of Douluo stands high and mighty, yet the screen slaps him in the face time and again, making him the "shame of the God Kings" across all worlds.

Ye the Heavenly Emperor and the Ruthless Empress send gifts from afar, helping the spark of life take form as a stone monkey. They gather the Great Sage's seven fragments of soul: his eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, mind, and emotions. They reforge the Golden Cudgel, reunite Bajie, Sha Seng, and Ao Lie, and form the "Pilgrim" squad to embark on a path of "defiance" that will overturn the Journey to the West!

From the tragic song of the White Bone Spirit to the sea of blood at Lion Camel Ridge, the screen exposes the hypocrisy of gods and Buddhas step by step. Holding the Demonic Heart Glazed Lamp, Tang Sanzang roars, "If Buddha is unjust, then I shall become a demon!" The newborn Great Sage shatters the cycle of reincarnation with a single strike, cutting off the Buddhist sect's foundations. In Chang'an City, Tang Sanzang establishes the "Way of Humanity," while Li Shimin forges the "Human Emperor," igniting a battle over the incense of the mortal world!

An alliance of the myriad worlds and an alliance of demons rise to the call. When the newborn Great Sage points his Golden Cudgel at the heavenly palace, will the gods and Buddhas of the Three Realms dare to fight?!
