Mo Rusui, a college dropout who longed for freedom, embarked on a spiritual journey in Fuyun Bay, his hometown of Lake City. He accidentally bumps into the mysterious "waiter" Bai Cha at a beachside coffee shop, but he doesn't know that she is actually the proprietress of the shop. The two walked in the sea breeze and sunset, from the embankment where white pigeons soared to the long bridge where the waves splashed, and started a poetic philosophical dialogue around "how many degrees of spring" and "what is freedom?" Bai Cha is willing to leave the shop and follow him across thousands of mountains, but Mo Rusui is entangled in the constraints of reality. As they reunited in the morning light the next day, the white dove on Bai Cha's shoulder Mo Mo revealed a past life and death, and Mo Ru Sui expressed his heart with a magic rose. Between the tide and the starlight, the two souls keep getting closer, testing each other's inner scars, and questioning the meaning of life - when the spring breeze blows across Penghu Bay, can they measure freedom with their footsteps and overcome the barriers of the world with courage?
