Synopsis

Shi Yue transmigrates into a stone monkey and gets a private message from the Jade Emperor from the start.

"Wukong, I'm begging you. Throw the Heavenly Palace into chaos!"

I'm stunned. Why does the Jade Emperor want to rebel even more than I do?

As it turns out, the Heavenly Court, packed with gods and Buddhas, has long been hollowed out by Buddhism and Taoism.

The Jade Emperor has endured in silence for ten thousand years, waiting for me, the "destined variable."

And so I become the Heavenly Court's "secret weapon," rebelling on the Emperor's orders!

Every time I cause a ruckus, I'm helping His Majesty eliminate political rivals.

Every time I get into trouble, I'm helping the Heavenly Court refresh its KPIs.

The gods and Buddhas all call me a demon monkey, but the Jade Emperor is the only one secretly giving me a thumbs-up from the Hall of Miraculous Mist.

"Wukong, splendid work! I'll take the blame for you!"

When the Journey to the West is complete, the Buddha hands out rewards at Spirit Mountain.

With the Jade Emperor's secret edict in hand, Shi Yue storms the Great Thunderclap Temple!

At that moment, the Three Realms are shaken!

The "cowardly" Jade Emperor takes the throne at Spirit Mountain, with the entire Heavenly Court at his back!

"Tathagata, do you know that this Journey to the West was my game from beginning to end?"
