While Others Fight Monsters, I Feed Them, Making Deep-Sea Behemoths Drool

Apocalypse, urban setting, exotic beasts, comedy, food, collecting

Yang Yi, a college student from Pingtan, originally just wants to flee through the bloodshed and make it back to his inland hometown. But a devastating sea-monster attack changes his fate forever. A mysterious little octopus seeks him out and tosses him the ultimate treasure from the deep sea, the Classic of Mountains and Seas, along with an offer he can't refuse: become a "beast tamer" and subdue the exotic beasts driven berserk by pollution!

Others fight monsters with firepower. Yang Yi subdues them with "feeding" and "gang beatings"! From then on, his monster-collecting adventures take a wonderfully absurd turn.

If good food can tempt it, he won't lift a finger. If he meets a stubborn beast that won't be swayed by food or drink? Shut the door and unleash the giant beast! Beat it up as a group!

His team grows ever larger in a snowballing cycle of "beat one into submission, recruit one."
