As the sky screen appeared, a spectacle that shook both past and present began. Qin Shi Huang saw what it truly meant to have "the same tracks for carts and the same script for writing." Emperor Wu of Han learned what it truly meant to declare, "Those who offend our mighty Han, no matter how far away, will be executed." Emperor Taizong of Tang witnessed what it truly meant for "all nations to pay tribute." The Hongwu Emperor understood what it truly meant that "the people come first, and the state comes second."

This was no simple display of power, but a conversation across time. As ancient emperors and generals witnessed their descendants fulfilling the regrets they once had and turning their unfulfilled dreams into reality, the pride and emotion rising from deep within their blood would stir in the hearts of every son and daughter of China.
