I Woke Up to Find the Emperor Ordering Me to Solve a Case

Modern office drone Shen Yan was still revising a data analysis report when he died from overwork. When he opened his eyes again, he was lying in a dilapidated temple in the Tang Dynasty. Before he could figure out the "survival guide for transmigrators," palace guards hauled him before the emperor. The modern T-shirt he wore was printed with "Data Analysis, Control the Future," leading the emperor to take him for a genius chosen by Heaven and force a murder case on him, demanding he solve it within three days.

Shen Yan looked around at the roomful of people from ancient times, panicking inside, and could only grit his teeth and use Excel logic to draw a "suspect relationship matrix." He relied on a "probability distribution of the time of the crime" to identify the killer. When he applied modern statistics like ancient mysticism, he actually caught the culprit. At the crime scene, he also ran into a beautiful woman in ancient dress carrying a food box: Su Qingwan, the chancellor's daughter, who had come to deliver pastries to her father.
