Hong Kong Films: Rise of a Tycoon, Become Stronger by Collecting Starlets

In Hong Kong in 1971, neon lights had just begun illuminating Kowloon's night. Lin Feng clawed his way out of a mountain of corpses and rivers of blood, clutching the only five dollars in his pocket, when a line of text suddenly appeared before his eyes: Bound to the Starlet Collection System.

Turning a corner, he saw Zhao Yazhi cornered by thugs. The moment he swung a bottle at them, the System's notification rang out: Bond formed with Zhao Yazhi. Rewards activated: 100,000 in startup funds and beginner screenwriting skills.

From then on, Hong Kong was swept up in turbulent change.

He made Wang Mingquan a star and secured a prime-time slot on TVB; rescued Lin Qingxia and broke into the Taiwan market; discovered Zhang Manyu and swept the three major film festivals...

Others scrambled for connections? He signed up half the goddesses in Hong Kong's entertainment industry.

Others played at being gangsters? His bonds with starlets unlocked combat skills and earned him 300 special forces soldiers. Even Crippled Ho offered him a cigarette.

Others speculated in property and stocks? The System had already fed him the secrets to making a fortune over the next ten years.

Standing at the top of Victoria Harbour, with Zhao Yazhi offering him a glass of red wine behind him and Lin Qingxia holding a script beside him, Lin Feng finally understood: a great hero was simply someone who gathered all the starlight of a golden age into his arms.
