Seafaring: Making a Name in the East Blue, I Get Rich by Snagging Nami

Ling Chen eats the most useless Devil Fruit in the whole ocean, only to become a hot commodity in the eyes of powerful players everywhere. He ends up being "fed" by strong fighters from all sides, each eager to take him under their wing.

Ling Chen: "This fruit is useless!"

World Government agent "Shadow": "This fruit is a nuisance. You can have it. I'll even bring a few pirates over to serve as beginner monsters."

Ling Chen: "The Marines are after me!"

Marine rising star Tashigi: "You're a Devil Fruit user? Come with me. I'll protect you and keep you safe."

Ling Chen: "I've got nowhere to go. I'm going to starve to death."

Genius navigator Nami: "Want to stay alive? I'll teach you staff fighting, give you room and board, and all you have to do is help me take down a pirate crew on the level of a Warlord of the Sea."

Extra scene:

Marine Headquarters: "Report! A riot broke out in Loguetown, and the ringleader, Ling Chen, has escaped!"

A senior official: "Meeting adjourned. I'm going to check out Ling Chen's file first."

Several days later:

Marine Headquarters: "Urgent report! Ling Chen single-handedly fought his way through Arlong Park!"

A senior official: "..." Ahem, did we set the bounty too low for this promising talent?
