Siheyuan: From the Start, I Leech Off Uncle Number One

Qi Siyuan transmigrates from the 21st century to the resource-scarce 1960s, becoming an orphan whose parents have both died. After sorting through his memories, he realizes his only support is his maternal uncle, First Uncle Yi Zhonghai, who works at a steel mill in the capital, far away in Beijing.

Believing that an uncle is as important as heaven and that living off one's elders is nothing to be ashamed of, Qi Siyuan resolutely sets out to seek his uncle's help.

Yi Zhonghai is overjoyed at the arrival of his own nephew and decides to raise him as if he were his son.

With Yi Zhonghai's help, Qi Siyuan, a high school graduate, easily gets a job at the steel mill as a buyer, a position everyone envies.

Qi Siyuan officially begins living off his uncle. He saves his own salary and relies on his uncle for all his food, clothing, and daily needs.

Other people criticize Qi Siyuan for living off his uncle, but he doesn't care.

Yi Zhonghai is more than happy to keep it up.

Before long, everyone is holding their slippers and looking at their own disappointing children, weeping with envy at Yi Zhonghai.
