The Haunted House

- In the old house, Zhou Mo discovers a diary left behind by his great-aunt. It contains fragments about a family curse, as well as her attempts to break it.

- Zhou Mo meets Xu Wenyuan, a local folklorist, who warns him not to spend the night in the house and hints at the eerie pattern that no man in the Zhou family lives past the age of thirty-five.

The strange things begin. Despite the warning, Zhou Mo decides to spend the night in the old house. After dark, he begins experiencing unexplainable phenomena, including strange noises and faint sobbing.
