Chasing the Wind Through Ashen Years

Mo Zhu suffered from the short-lived Turbid Veins Disease. On the day of his coming-of-age ceremony, he left his fishing village, carrying the "ancestral saber" given to him by his deranged mother and a wooden "death-exemption token" artifact gifted by his child master. At the village entrance, bandits tried to rob him of his money and saber. Forced to use the martial arts and talismans his master had taught him, Mo Zhu was surprised to find they really worked, and easily subdued and trapped his enemies. Delighted to discover his master's true abilities, he set out on a ten-year journey.
