World War II: The Damn System Makes Me Sell Arms

December 1937, the Taihang Mountains. The north wind sweeps across the land, bending the white grass. Snow blankets the world in the bitter cold of midwinter.

Across the vast white wilderness, Li Canghai, six foot one and in his early twenties, trudges through several inches of snow with his hands tucked into his coat sleeves.

Damn this lousy System. It dumped him in this world for no reason and is forcing an honest man like him to become some kind of arms dealer. It couldn't be more shameless.

But whatever. Since he's here, he may as well make the best of it. First, he needs to figure out how to survive. Sigh...

Li Canghai looks up at the falling snow. After cursing the damned System for the umpteenth time, he reluctantly keeps walking and disappears into the blizzard.
