Old Tales of the Mortal World

The years stretch on.

Every stage of life has its own memories worth keeping.

When youth has passed,

and we look back,

those precious memories shine like treasures in the river of time.

As the years go by,

the body's functions gradually decline, and we grow less and less energetic.

The faraway places we longed to visit become truly far away.

The dreams we once had lose their color.

All that remains is the calm of one day after another,

and the unpredictability of life, as changeable as the weather.
