Siheyuan: I Am Zhang Jiao! Rebuilding the Way of Great Peace in a Year of Famine

I am Zhang Jiao! Leader of the Yellow Turbans in the Three Kingdoms, now transmigrated into a courtyard home, where I've become a "freakish charlatan" in the back courtyard, with no parents and everyone keeping their distance!

In this era of food and clothes in short supply, his door is covered with strange talismans. The courtyard's tenants see him as a "charlatan" and a "jinx," and normally steer clear of his home for fear of catching even a trace of bad luck!

Little do they know Zhang Jiao has already revived the Way of Great Peace, and his talismans can command heaven and earth! Great Peace talisman water fills your stomach, Calamity talismans bring bad luck, Healing talismans can bring the dead back to life, and his Storage talisman is packed with cattle and sheep, with mountains of grain piled high inside!

The vermin dare to provoke him? One Calamity talisman will make you break your leg on the way out and choke to death while drinking water!

When famine strikes, the courtyard's tenants are so hungry they're chewing tree bark, while Zhang Jiao enjoys steak and red wine at every meal!

They smell the delicious meat from his home and try to guilt-trip him? A Clear Mind talisman leaves them speechless, and they end up getting swindled until they're wailing for their parents! He'd rather throw the meat away than let them have any!

In the end...

He even stands atop a mountain during the famine, gazing down at the starving masses and sighing softly:

"I vow to bring peace to all under heaven!"
