A Collection of Magical Detective Stories

Unjust protagonist + Western fantasy + crime and mystery

Twelve years ago, the Borkav couple, accused of murder, were sentenced to death after the evidence against them was deemed conclusive.

Ludwig Borkav had been with his parents at the time of the crime, but his testimony was ruled invalid because he was one hour short of his ninth birthday.

Twelve years later, Ludwig, who despises the judicial system, became a detective qualified as a lawyer, priest, and mage. He proclaimed that he would "help every real culprit escape justice."
