American Comics: I, Homelander, Want to Fly Whenever I Feel Like It

"They say I'm a hero?"

Ridiculous.

My heat vision can burn through tanks, my strength can topple buildings, and my speed exceeds the sound barrier. Why should I obey rules made by ants?

Vought's PR team packaged me as "America's protector," but here's the truth:

I, Homelander, kill whoever I want and destroy whatever I want.

Those politicians? Just playthings beneath my feet.

The public? A flock of lambs waiting to be slaughtered.

As I fly at supersonic speed, I look down on this hypocritical city.

"Kneel."

"Or die."
