Mystic Fortune Pangu: Proving the Dao Across Myriad Worlds with Insurance Policies

The day top insurance manager Gu Zhou died in a car accident, nine-colored lotuses burst across the sky above the entire city of Modu. A green-robed immortal maiden who called herself an emissary of the afterlife arrived atop golden clouds of merit. With a wave of her hand, she blew apart the projection of the Book of Life and Death. The densely packed insurance policies had actually condensed into an undying golden body under the laws of reincarnation!

"Daoist Gu, every policy you sell is altering cause and effect!"

It turned out that Gu Zhou's sales legend concealed a shocking secret! He had used fortune to rewrite the fates of every client he insured, and his metaphysical constitution had begun absorbing the Heavenly Dao's merit in turn. Then he died beneath the wheels of a car while saving a little girl, even though the Book of Life and Death showed that the child should have been perfectly safe!

The moment the two fell into chaos, the insurance policy in Gu Zhou's hand burst into the divine flames of creation. Countless images of his clients appeared in the void: a programmer tapped out code to mend the heavens, a hotpot restaurant owner simmered primordial broth, and the claws of a spayed cat tore through the chaos of yin and yang. With thirty thousand merits empowering him, the policy in his hand transformed into Pangu's Axe!

As world-ending Zixiao divine lightning split the chaos, Gu Zhou swung the creation axe, its blade bearing the steel seal of the Insurance Regulatory Commission, and snarled at the primordial Heavenly Dao: "Under Article 13 of the Chaos Era Insurance Act, unilateral breach of contract means you owe me 129,600 universes!"
