Exposing Anime Crossover Underdog Heroes! Tanjiro from the Start

Xiao Lan activates the Myriad Heavens Exposure System and immediately begins ranking the ten anime protagonists who made the greatest comebacks. The first subject revealed is Tanjiro Kamado from Demon Slayer!

From setting out to slay demons with his demon-transformed younger sister on his back, to carrying on the Flame Hashira's burning will aboard the Mugen Train, Tanjiro builds on Water Breathing, tempers his bright red blade in Swordsmith Village, and uses his scars and convictions at the Hashira Meeting to prove that humans and demons might coexist.

Facing the Upper Rank demons, he combines Water and Flame Breathing, cleaving through the demon realm with Hinokami Kagura. The warmth of his companions and their vows are etched into the patterns on his blade.

Observers across the myriad worlds are shaken:

Edward Elric from Fullmetal Alchemist marvels at his "emotion-driven physical limits,"

Kurapika from Hunter x Hunter sees himself in Tanjiro's determination to protect his sister,

"The most terrifying thing about humans is that they can turn even death into strength." Morning light glints off Tanjiro's blade. The flame patterns of his red blade will become an enduring symbol of faith for all those who fight their way back from adversity.

This comeback, which began on a snowy night, is showing the myriad heavens: when the weak grip their blades, every scar becomes a light that illuminates their fate.
