The Time Reverser

An illegitimate son abandoned by the empire, he survives alone in the mud and blood of the Lower District after his mother dies. He secretly learns forbidden arts and hunts down criminals, surviving by the most ruthless means.

As the last of the people of time, he is once again captured by the emperor during his final massacre of a cult. The emperor appoints him a holy and mighty paladin, making him the empire's sharpest sword.

Only after countless bloody massacres does Arthur finally see the truth behind the world's suffering.

He is no longer lost. He has only one goal in his sights: the empire must be destroyed.
