Starshine Emperor

Beneath the Nine Heavens, inside the Star Palace, the young Qin Yu is pinned through the shoulder blades by black iron chains. Once the most promising young lord of the stars, he was poisoned by his fiancee and betrayed by his guards in a secret realm three days ago. Now, the Third Elder insults him as a "bastard" and prepares to punish him for the "crime" of vying for the position of young lord.

At the crucial moment, his maid Ling Yue takes a fatal blow for him and dies in his arms. Her death fully awakens the ancient soul sleeping within Qin Yu. Nine crimson-gold divine markings erupt from his brow, revealing the aura of an ancient emperor. The black iron chains shatter, and he withstands the combined attack of three elders with nothing but a mortal body.

It turns out Qin Yu is no bastard. He is a descendant of an emperor whose memories were sealed, and the Qin family is merely a pawn in a thousand-year conspiracy. Ling Yue, too, swore an oath with him ten thousand years ago to live and die together. Qin Yu swears that those who betrayed him three days ago will be on their knees licking up blood three days from now. Those who hurt Ling Yue will pay with the entire Qin family.

Three days later, in the Qin family ancestral hall, Qin Yu steps on the Third Elder's back, cares for Ling Yue, and swears to tear down the stars in the sky for her. With the fire of the Nine Luminaries, he will burn every person who humiliated him, and those who harmed him will be damned for eternity.
