The Chinese Volunteer Army sent troops to the Korean Peninsula. In the War to Resist U. S. Aggression and Aid Korea, the Chinese People's Volunteers emerged with more than 300,000 heroes, role models and meritorious officials. This book compiles the heroic and exemplary deeds of more than 70 volunteer heroes, models, meritorious officials and heroic collectives. Some chapters have been published sporadically.
