In 1943, near the border between China and Myanmar, a group of separated veteran soldiers struggled to survive in a poverty-stricken environment. Their original purpose was just to earn a living and survive in that era. Until they all gathered together, the team gradually expanded, enough to reach the size of half a company. Everyone has been adhering to the principle of never abandoning or giving up and fighting until the end. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
