Great Tang: Weekly Resets, Li Shimin Begs Me to Take the Throne

After transmigrating to the second year of the Zhenguan era, Li Che starts off so destitute he's eating dirt!

His stunning aunt is starving and dizzy in their shabby hut, while his food-loving little sister gazes longingly at an empty pot. What a life...

Fortunately, he awakens a weekly-refreshing System that delivers random modern supplies: hybrid rice seeds, a method for refining salt, and a gunpowder formula.

From then on, he begins a life of cheating his way to success: his poetry wins Li Bai's admiration, his inventions make the Ministry of Works grovel, and his military campaigns send the Turks fleeing overnight!

Then one day, a merchant comes to buy a curved-plow, and breaks down in tears.

Li Shimin: That birthmark... He's the eldest prince we lost during the Xuanwu Gate Incident!

Empress Zhangsun: My son, this dragon throne was yours all along!

Your Highness, even Li Chengqian isn't worthy to hold your shoes!

Please ascend the throne and save the Tang dynasty!

Li Che stares blankly at the throne: I just wanted to be rich. Why do you have to make me emperor?

System: Your throne has arrived. Please sign for it!
