You Told Me to Dream, So I Dreamed of Ghost Blows Out the Light

Wu Tong takes part in a metaverse dream-building competition.

The bad news: if he loses, his brain will be cut out.

The worse news: he has been picked in advance as a rich young master's designated loser, so he's bound to lose.

Looking at the topic the judges have set with malicious intent: nightmares,

Wu Tong can barely stop himself from laughing.

I'm a man with an entire world's worth of horror stories under my belt.

Sadako has long, flowing hair; Xiao Wei has fair skin; Chu Renmei has a lovely singing voice; Kayako is considerate.

Here's some free air-conditioning for this sweltering summer. Don't mention it, just call me Lei Feng.

The organization has made its decision. It's you, Ghost Blows Out the Light. Get started!

The audience goes wild. You can tell a story like that? Scaring people would be one thing, but the story even has perfect internal logic. It might actually be real. From now on, they'll have to sleep in diapers for the rest of their lives.

The judges are going crazy too. If you play like this, how am I supposed to manipulate the competition? How am I supposed to improve? And how am I supposed to discuss the serious academic question of how many ways there are to describe a woman's ample curves with the financial tycoon's secretary?

The shadow lurking behind the organizing committee goes crazy too. Could this be the destined opportunity? Did we finally choose the right person this time?
