A Man in One Piece: The Echo of D

Burning Through Time, Bonds That Never Fade

Ace, pierced through the chest by Akainu during the Paramount War, opens his eyes to find himself back on Mount Colubo at the age of ten.

Five-year-old Luffy tugs at his freckles, shouting, "Got you!" while Sabo freezes mid-wipe as he cleans his iron pipe in the morning light.

This seemingly warm rebirth comes wrapped in a chilling truth: the old magma wound in Ace's chest still seeps golden crystals of blood; the crown of flames in the rock paintings on the mountain's back slope scorches his dreams every midnight; and the Blackbeard Pirates' flag, which should not appear for another twelve years, is already flying at a dock in the East Blue.

When the three brothers accidentally touch an ancient altar sealed with the "Embers of Time," the gears of the pirate world begin to slip out of place. Luffy's Gum-Gum Fruit awakens its Sun God markings ahead of schedule; Sabo's noble blood activates the space-time compass the Revolutionary Army has sought for a century; and the Time-Time Fruit, awakened within Ace alongside the Flame-Flame Fruit, is pushing him toward the "War of the Fire God" erased from history eight hundred years ago.
