Great Ming: The Aggressive Imperial Grandson Has Zhu Yuanzhang Freaking Out

Zhu Yuntong accidentally transmigrates to the Ming dynasty and becomes Zhu Yuanzhang's grandson.

It is the time of Old Zhu's fake death and the policy of stripping the fiefs after Zhu Yunwen ascends the throne.

Faced with Zhu Yunwen's aggressive advances,

Zhu Yuntong simply stops pretending and lays his cards on the table.

He sends his troops north at once, bombards Jinling, and takes back the throne.

Seeing this, Old Zhu can no longer sit still.

He immediately comes out to put a stop to everything.

But after hearing what his beloved good grandson Zhu Yuntong has to say, Old Zhu changes his mind.

"Grandpa, the Ming should tax commerce heavily and farming lightly."

"Grandpa, having the civil service exams test only eight-legged essays is a disaster for the country and its people."

"If your grandson takes action, wiping out these mere Tatars and Oirats will be a piece of cake."

Each thing he says is more outrageous than the last.

Zhu Yuanzhang is stunned,

and falls silent.

"Good grandson, you take the throne. Do whatever you want. Your grandpa will back you up."

Zhu Yuanzhang claims to be ill and retires to recuperate, while Zhu Yuntong officially ascends the throne.

He establishes a Taxation Bureau and a Censorate,

redesigns the civil service exams,

and founds an Academy of Applied Sciences.

Step by step, Zhu Yuntong leads the Ming dynasty to the pinnacle of the world.
