In March 2025, Xiao Heng, a Chinese male college student born in the 2000s, was lying on the bed in his dormitory, reading a book containing the documentary of China's Anti-Japanese War. He suddenly felt confused and fell asleep in a trance. When I woke up, I traveled to Northeast China in 1928. I received relief from my fellow villagers, experienced the hardships of China in the book North of the Great Wall, and participated in the course of China's Anti-Japanese War. Although through my own efforts, I made friends with some Chinese people at that time, and fought wits and courage with the invading Japanese and traitors. I experienced many tragic things, but I could not change the past under the historical situation. Xiao Heng still felt deeply helpless in the end. This novel and its characters are purely fictitious.
