Above the Canglan

On the planet of Qingmu Huanhai, there are many nations, including two great powers: Tianqiu and Lushu. The many minority peoples surrounding Tianqiu often raid its borderlands, dragging the country into years of war and leaving its people in misery. Later, under the leadership of King Qiu Lianjie and the Eighth Prince Huangfu Shou, Tianqiu rises to its peak. Lushu, by contrast, enjoys peace and prosperity, with its people living in comfort. But the country favors civil officials over military ones, while powerful relatives of the imperial family and a succession of corrupt ministers and eunuchs dominate the court. As a result, Lushu grows weaker with each passing year, gradually falls into decline, and is ultimately destroyed.
