I Built a Nuclear Cannon, and You Say World War II Is Over?

Shen Yi transmigrates to the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression.

From the start, he's sent to defend an island somewhere in the South China Sea, becoming a sailor stationed there.

There's nothing else he can do!

He leads his comrades in building infrastructure on the island and constructing warships!

With war raging everywhere, Shen Yi's island defense unit soon loses all contact with headquarters!

After contact is lost, Shen Yi and his comrades devote themselves to building up their isolated island, cut off from the outside world. They keep at it for more than eighty years!

Eighty years later, on an unspecified day in 2025.

A small fishing boat discovers the island, which has never appeared on any map.

Shen Yi asks the fisherman, "What year is it?"

Fisherman: "It's 2025. World War II ended ages ago!"

Shen Yi is stunned. "I built nuclear artillery, and you're telling me World War II is over?"

Navies from all over the world rush to the island. Looking at Shen Yi's nuclear guns, carrier battle groups, and cluster bombs, they feel a little uneasy.
