War of Resistance: My Firepower Is a Little Too Strong

In the bitter winter of 1939, deep in the barren mountains of northern Shanxi, a cold bayonet pressed against Liang Chen's throat. At last, he heard the System activate.

Two modern giants of the arms industry transmigrated onto the battlefield of the hit war drama Drawing Sword and awakened the Arms Overlord System. They used spent shell casings to temper steel, enabling heavy sniper rifles to tear through the night. Then they reconfigured explosive packs into incendiary bombs, instantly turning the battlefield into a sea of fire. But each advanced weapon required three tons of steel. What were they to do? Raid an arms factory in enemy-occupied territory, or take out the enemy's supply line directly?

The enemy had already set its sights on this mysterious "Ghost Unit," while a puppet-army commander was offering a reward of ten thousand jin of millet for the two men's heads. Ma Rui was polishing a scope modified from a Mosin-Nagant, while Lan Yu studied a plan to besiege one enemy force and ambush the reinforcements on a sand table. The bayonet seemed tempered with frost and snow from the Taihang Mountains. He said, "How about cobbling together a mortar from Type 38 parts?"

As factory chimneys slowly rose in occupied territory, the blood-red setting sun swept over a steel wall made of crooked-stock machine guns.
