Great Ming: Punished for Saving the Emperor, I Raise an Army in Heaven's Name

He transmigrates to the end of the Ming dynasty and becomes Zhu Yujian, the ninth Prince of Tang.

Just as 100,000 Qing troops invade, he leads his army north to assist the emperor and repel the enemy.

Instead, Emperor Chongzhen condemns him, abolishes his princely title with an imperial decree, and exiles him to Fengyang Prison.

Luckily, he activates the Super Military Equipment System, and an army armed with modern weapons is born.

Zhu Yujian tears up the decree and slaughters every member of the Embroidered Uniform Guard sent to arrest him.

If I’m going to be punished for coming to the emperor’s aid, then I’ll “receive Heaven’s mandate and pacify the rebellion, cleansing the court of traitors.”

If you can’t be a good emperor, then I’ll take your place.

When Zhu Yujian’s army reaches the capital, both the Ming and Qing armies are left reeling.

Zugu Dashou, Commander-in-Chief of Guan Ning: “We’re both Ming armies. Isn’t Prince Tang being a little too ruthless?”

Aisin Gioro Ajige, Prince of Wuying of the Great Qing: “Why are these muskets so vicious? The cavalry of Great Qing can’t even get close!”

Wen Tiren, Grand Secretary of the Cabinet: “Your Highness, I’ll open the city gates for you. I’m a loyal subject, I swear!”

Emperor Chongzhen: “I’m not worthy of this throne. It should belong to my great-uncle, the prince!”
